Baie de Somme

Amiens is 56 km from the Bay of the Somme estuary and is an ideal starting point for exploring this Grand Site de France.

Considered an ornithological mecca thanks to the richness of its environments, which offer favourable conditions for sedentary and migratory birds, the bay is ecologically rich and attracts many walkers and Sunday sportsmen. 

A cycle path allows you to go around the bay, from Le Crotoy to Saint-Valery, and boat and sea kayak trips are also possible from various ports.
